DJ, producer and activist on the Strasbourg scene for over 10 years, Ostalgie comes from a hip-hop background but has gradually taken an interest in all musical genres, his thirst for discovery overflowing. He co-founded the 'Les Ills' collective to share his passion, inviting hundreds of local and international DJs to perform in his home town. He then spent 4 years as curator for 'La Kulture', showcasing the local electronic scene. He is now curator for a new venue full of surprises, 'Le Carton', with his colleagues from Raja Business Team. Signed to labels such as LAN, Bande Magnétique, With Ectoplasms Adjunction, Blanik and Bella Ursa Recordings, he recently joined the 'We R Solar' energy project with Phil MrP and his MrP Agency. Ostalgie mixes sounds ranging from ambient to downtempo, from new beat to proto trance, from synth pop to italo disco, from breakbeat to bass music and much more. He has fun writing unique and different stories every time, depending on the time, the place or the dancefloor. Ostalgie compiles emotions and gives rhythm to memories, his music is timeless and organic.
