Oliver was switched on to Electronica from an early age, first catching the bug at the impressionable age of 13 when his radio dial stumbled across the legendary 808 State show on Sunset 102 in Manchester. From there his journey of enlightenment took him through the rave scene of the early 90's frequenting legendary venues such as the Hacienda, Home and the Hippodrome in the North of England. His taste for the music was, as it is for many of us, insatiable. Being young and skint but wanting more, he put himself to work in a takeaway shop for three months in 1996 with the goal of purchasing a pair of Technics 1210's. Oliver endured and he achieved his goal which inevitably set him on the path to DJ in clubs not only in Manchester but all over Europe in the late 90's and early 2000's. After several years building his experience and learning production skills along the way, Oliver took a break to focus on an unrelated business opportunity that came his way and temporarily put the 1s and 2s on hold to focus entirely on a new and in the end very successful business. Naturally his passion for the music never died and recently the studio equipment he had accumulated over the years was taken out of storage (including his prized 1210's!) and a fresh adventure through the electronic wilderness ensued taking us to this point in time where Oliver becomes ONYVA.
