Buenos Aires-born Oliverio Segura continues a family legacy of music curation from his implanted roots in the ancient lake of Mexico City. This selector navigates clandestine dens and dance floors with an array of precise and mysterious vibrations - groovy house and techno, electro, unforeseen acid, breaks, and a touch of rogue bliss obliterated by the next gem he recently excavated from the depths of some unknown vinyl archive. Playing with international music heads at parties like Capricho or cities like New York, Buenos Aires, or any other place in Mexico, this sonic Seeker offers a meticulous exploration of classic and modern sounds with a craft mixing style. In 2022 he launched La Palma, alongside Valeria Korneeva, an invite-only venue hidden in Mexico City, where DJs from all over the world and the best local talent are invited to play long sessions in a private intimate atmosphere. This project reflects what Oliverio stands for in terms of dance culture and the art of Deejaying. Long and eclectic journeys, where music operates as a force of nature, time and spaces collide in a pure present experience. Dance culture values and underground dogmas are at the forefront of the project, working as a base to explore new exits and visions for the current world.
