La Collectif is currently showcasing a first-of-its-kind mix series where every track in each mix has to be (co)produced by a female/gender non conforming artist. Every DJ who has contributed so far has commented on the lengthy, thought-provoking process in putting the mix together, which is exactly why the mix series was created: raising awareness and strengthening the balance of gender equality in electronic music.
