Established 13 years ago, Nyna Curtis is one of Réunion's pioneering women behind the decks. An emblematic figure on the local scene, in her own way she has shown that yes, women are DJs like everyone else! Whether at private parties, collective events or major local festivals such as the Electropicales and Réunion Sonore, Nyna Curtis is well known to the Réunionese public. For the past 3 years, she has been a resident and member of the Désinvolt project. It's the island's most daring and inclusive evening, allowing her to express herself as freely as possible, to take risks and to grow in contact with every Guest invited for the occasion. Her involvement in music over the years, notably with Kollektiv Zusammen, has enabled her to play in legendary Berlin clubs such as Watergate and Sisyphos. And the highly respected Club le Folklor in Lausanne regularly opens its doors to him. Her musical signature? Mental, electric and metallic sounds to surprise, she likes to flirt with the strange, with dissonance that becomes melodic and catchy.
