Carlos, known as Nyctea, is a diverse DJ who loves to blend a style of genres, bringing him recognition for mystifying vibes. He comes from Long Beach, California but is now a resident of the San Francisco bay area. His passion for music began at a young age, but he found his true love, electronic music, in the underground LA scene in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. This discovery led him to pursue his lifelong ambition; to play electronic music. Once in the scene he quickly rose and has performed at events with many artists big and small with some of them like Thee-O, OMNOM, Sam Swindle, Westend, and Will Clarke just to name a few. From funky bass lines to groovy melodies, grimy bass to head bopping drops, Nyctea’s unique style is sure to bring smiles to everyone’s faces.
