Sonja aka Nya Nyx found herself behind the turntables first in 2017 after she had already been exploring the electronic music realm for more than a decade. Her style can best be described as Psytechno: a variety of dark, minimal and progressive Techno packed with psychedelic soundscapes, bouncy grooves, hypnotising basslines and just the right amount of crazy. In a constant state of evolution and very sensitive to the location she plays at and the crowd she plays for, Nya Nyx combines these elements in a new way with every set and ensures an intense and poignant vibe in front of the sound system. Last year she joined Padang Records as a label DJ and she’s also working on her own productions - so keep an eye out on her upcoming gigs and releases.
