NUNDALE is the brainchild of Swiss born electronic musician and composer Olivier Bernard Egli. A drummer and pianist since the age of 6 he started his real musical journey in the early 90s producing beats for several well known Swiss HipHop projects and doing live acts at large raves. In1994, he released the vinyl maxi single ‘Acid Train’ (GoProgressive Records Bern) with much acclaim before starting his long term project ‘Nundale’ in an effort to marry his love for industrial music with more elaborate IDM sounds and melodies. NUNDALE remains true to his industrial roots and his obsession with evocative sounds, haunting melody progressions and intricate beat programming. Seeing his own music as a gateway to channel his thoughts, he seeks to take listeners on a journey of introspection. “I have always been fascinated with the the topic of reality and balance. Living in a world that is increasingly in disarray projects many thoughts in me that I shape into musical experiences, juxtaposing hope and despair, light and darkness and the natural with the unnatural.”
