Born in southern Italy and currently based in Milan, Daniele Carbone aka Novze is an artist who has always been surrounded by music from an early age, thanks to his parents who had passion for every genre. He took his first steps into music at the age of 5, studying piano for 11 years. His first approach was with classical music, which still influences his melodies today and his methodical way of working on the sound. But very soon he discovered electronic music. For him everything is electronic music because it represents a genre that intrinsically has no limits. From Daft Punk to Aphex Twin, from Massive Attack to Jeff Mills, multiple are the artists that inspire him and multiple are the sounds that fill his productions. There is never a shortage of full basses filling pressing and growing rhythms, contrasted by short, intense and impactful sounds. Melodies from past and future eras are mixed between disco-funky grooves, straight beats and syncopated chords from the Detroit school with experimental sounds. Since October 2021 he’s a resident dj of the emerging Milanese collective “God Will Save Us” and he has performed in the most famous clubs of the Milan underground scene. Today he is engaged in his project of a hybrid DJ set performance (DJ set + live) and is focusing on his productions and creating live shows.
