NOAKKO (aka Eshan Ashcroft) is already proving to be an undeniable voice and force of nature in the London music scene. Throughout 2022 Eshan curated and developed his own club night, ‘From Callisto With Love’, performing to sold-out rooms at Next Door Records and Jaguar Shoes. The immediate success of these nights culminated in a sell-out show at Peckham Audio in June 2023 to celebrate the launch of his second E.P, Atma. Whilst citing main inspirations from the likes of Joy Orbison, Skee Mask and Machinedrum, the true origins of Noakko’s music is the culmination of trips to places of worship as a child combined with old tapes and records acquired from various markets across London. Keen to share and educate others on the beautiful rich tapestry of Mauritian art, music and culture, he takes the helm on two monthly radio shows on Voices Radio and Bloop London.
