Nick aka nixmoon was born and raised in Berlin-Spandau. During their early teenager years they fall in love with the synthesizer sounds from Jean-Michel Jarre. In 1995 while sitting in a car with their parents they heard the song Wonderful Days from Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo and knew right away this is the sound they wanna hear more of, that's when it all started with Techno and the Hardcore feelings. ;) Live passed on, they graduated from university as an electrical engineer and perused a career in a international company. After returning from working abroad for several years they finally connected back to the Berlin Techno scene and when the company called again for an assignment in China. It was a hard decision to made whether to leave or not as they where not sure if it would be possible to hear the familiar and much needed sounds. That's how nixmoon got into djing in order to bring the Berlin sound to Qingdao. Luckily they connected quite fast with Tenkou, a local DJ, and at INFO club Lindy gave them the chance to play the first time in a club in front of an audience. They are very grateful for the trust and opportunities they got in Qingdao. <3
