Nilofar

Nilofar’s musical identity was shaped by the electronic club culture of the 2010s and has since developed into a broad interest in underground dance music across different eras. Her selections are connected less by strict genre boundaries than by groove, character and atmosphere. Drawing from deep and raw house, Detroit-influenced sounds, minimal, soulful elements and broken rhythms, her sets can move naturally into more driving and techno-leaning territory. She is particularly drawn to DJs and producers who resist being confined to a single style, allowing hypnotic, stripped-back moments to coexist with expressive vocals, percussion-heavy grooves and more energetic club tracks. Curiosity and selection remain at the centre of her approach, with her sound continuing to evolve rather than following a fixed genre formula. Nilofar has played at venues and events including Harry Klein, Bahnwärter Thiel, Lieberscholli and Corleone Bar, as well as with the Traumtakt collective.
