NIKØ is a Berlin based DJ & Live Producer, feeling homely in the realm of raw / hypnotic Techno, where absorbing sequences meet rolling basslines to evolve into a dark and bass-heavy soundscape. Being in touch with music and instruments already from the early childhood days, the transition from crafting acoustic songs to the production of electronic grooves happened gradually around the year 2020, when the urge to play instruments in combination with celebrating a beloved genre resulted in the live production of various Techno sessions with a focus on maintaining improvisation. Organising outdoor raves in and around Berlin shortly there-after, NIKØ sets foot in DJ territory but applies his EQ-heavy mixing style from his live sets to smoothly melt together rare tracks on a supercharged journey through the lesser known, underground territories of Berlin’s Techno scene - never out of touch with his acoustic roots, which results in a raw and untamed sound. As Co-Founder of 'Kollektiv Moabeat' in 2021, NIKØ organises the 'Kollektiv Moabeat Invites' series, where local underground talent is featured on a regular basis at an unknown but well-equipped venue, to give back to the underground community, whose energy and ideology NIKØ has absorbed to the bones, shaping not only his unruly play-style but also serves as a contribution to a free, safe, inclusive and diverse rave-space in a social hub like Berlin.
