A DJ of true eclecticism, Nick Cobby began by mixing 90's breakbeat on vinyl in the basements of Nottingham in the UK in the early 2000s. Since then he has circumnavigated almost every electronic music genre in his 15 years playing clubs and festivals around the world, able to create any mood that the dance floor requires. He has shared lineups with the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Ben UFO, Bicep, Seth Troxler, Objekt, Nina Kraviz, Space Dimension Controller, Magda, Anthony Parasole, DJ Qu, Palms Trax, Galcher Lustwerk and many more - fusing his love of 90's New York, Chicago and acid house with trance, breaks, disco and any other genre you can think of. Following residencies in London and a Japanese tour in 2018 and 2019 respectively, he moved to Mexico for a fresh challenge, where he has helped organize some of the most adventurous parties in Tepoztlán as well as playing some of Mexico City's best underground clubs. With his 'Field Trips' alias, he holds a monthly residency on Netil Radio in London where he explores downtempo, ambient, and experimental electronic sounds.
