They say once your musical career gets rolling it can be pretty hard to stop! That rings quite true for Natron who, with his sharp high hats and low rolling basslines, is continuing to push and perfect his own edgy and raw brand of house music. The winner of Victoria's Best House/Lounge DJ at the 2011 Victoria Nightlife Awards, has held numerous notable residencies, including at Whitebird Lounge, and fills venues from small lounges all the way up to larger festivals including playing the Victoria Electronic Music Festival (VEMF) mainstage to over 3500 people. Inspired by the likes of Art Department, Jamie Jones and Tanner Ross, Natron's stylings are so much more than just four to the floor. Encouraged by rolling funky minimal grooves, Natron has taken his musical direction to more of an energetic fusion of futuristic shuffle and soul dance music, laden with percussion rolls, synth stabs and smooth basslines. With all this in mind it's not surprising that he's also shared stages with the likes of some of the largest names including Kenny Glasgow, Longwalkshortdock, Rennie Foster, Felix Cartel, JFK, Designer Drugs and Robb G (to just mention a few). With a resume that notes festival appearances at Rifflandia, Tall Trees, VEMF and Rock of the Woods in addition to attendances at Soundwave and Decibel, you can bet that in 2012 notable notches in Natron's belt will only become infinite as this young DJ and producer continues to blaze his own trail!
