Born in Ivory Coast and raised in Nigeria, NABSS discovered a deep connection to rhythm and sound at an early age. That passion evolved into a career during his college years in Springfield, Illinois, where he launched his own Thursday night party series and quickly became a staple in the local nightlife scene. His talent led to gigs across college towns in the Midwest, including Macomb, Carbondale, and Champaign, as well as mix sets for Springfield’s local radio station. After graduating, he joined renowned DJ management agency The DJ Firm, which opened doors to Chicago’s vibrant nightlife. He performed at some of the city’s most recognized venues, including No9, Concrete Cowboy, and Clutch. In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, he relocated to St. Louis, where he quickly made waves at premier venues like Ember Nightclub and Wheelhouse. One of his standout moments in the city was performing at the St. Louis Mardi Gras, sharing the stage with none other than DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal). After two successful years in St. Louis, he returned to Chicago, securing residencies at iconic venues such as Tao, ROOF on theWit, and Federales, while continuing to perform across other high-profile clubs. In 2023, he added North Coast Music Festival to his growing list of achievements. His dynamic sets have supported internationally acclaimed DJs and artists including Gordo, The Magician, Matroda, Sidepiece, Alok, Sam Feldt, Benny Benassi, Majid Jordan, DaBaby, Wiz Khalifa, SAINt JHN, and Waka Flocka Flame. In addition to his solo career, he is the founder of The Feels Collective, a Chicago-based event brand known for curating unforgettable Afrohouse experiences throughout the city.
