NAAZ, an Estonian-born, Ireland-raised DJ and producer, has been an avid music collector since childhood. Having received his first CD collection and boombox at the age of 6, it is no surprise he found himself enthralled in the world of sound when he moved to Amsterdam in 2018. NAAZ first entered the Amsterdam underground techno scene in late 2020, through organizing and playing at parties in and around the city. In 2022, a year after his residency with Parrhesia, NAAZ became the head of program for a temporary venue DECK. Inspired by the work and people he met in his short tenure as a programmer, he founded and became a resident of the underground initiative Third Floor - a genre-fluid event series and label. Soon after, NAAZ' vision and talents were picked up by ORPHIC, a frontrunner in Amsterdam’s music scene. As one of the faces behind ORPHIC and Third Floor, he has already established his presence in Amsterdam. His signature sound fuses trance-inducing soundscapes, dub elements, and heavy-hitting percussion. Dissonant tones and meticulous layering are sure to make his sound stand out even to the most critical ears. Influenced by the likes of DVS1, Takaaki Itoh, and Mama Snake, NAAZ's sound palette covers a variety of styles.
