Rooted in groove techno ranging between 144–148 BPM, mxs delivers stripped-back, hypnotic sets that prioritize flow, rhythm, and physical movement over excess. Avoiding unnecessary vocals and dramatic breakdowns, he builds long-form narratives through subtle transitions, tight phrasing, and carefully layered tracks. His sound is inspired by artists such as Alarico, Annē, BAUGRUPPE90, Chlär, Sera J, Yanamaste and many more, reflecting a modern interpretation of groove techno - raw, focused, and functional, yet always forward-moving. After beginning his DJ journey in summer 2024, mxs stepped into public performances in January 2025. He is currently a resident at Grün&Gold (Heidelberg) and a founding member of Oststadtbeats, contributing both musically and conceptually to the regional scene.
