mutait

Multidisciplinary artist mutait draws from nearly a decade immersed in the queer techno underground subculture of NYC. They carefully select through a discography that traces a throughline from Detroit techno staples to contemporary breaks.
In New York, mutait is a resident DJ and collaborator of party @post_op_nyc, a FLINTA oriented seasonal rooftop party in Bushwick. They recently made a homecoming and debut playing Pervert (NYC / CDMX) in March 2026. In Durham, mutait has appeared in the Blendr Showcase, Morning Choir, and Signal. Additionally, Tait hosts Proxy, a queer electro oriented party in Durham NC.

mutait’s draws from a deep collection of both vinyl and digital. Their sets and production have a strong emphasis on groove and syncopation, drawing from influence playing drums since early childhood.
