MRNDB has a sound that is rooted in the essence of house and techno, but is infused with the musical DNA that has shaped him over the years. His sound is aimed at matching the energy in the crowd with the broadest spectrum of techno that matches his taste and style. Some notable elements are sounds of queer and ballroom music, hardgroove, pop, funk and general unexpected sounds that make his sets a more eclectic high energy journey. MRNDB made his start as a classical pianist, focussing on music between the 18th and 20th century. After moving to Amsterdam, he got in touch with techno, which set him on a path to rediscover DJ'ing and electronic music production. Now he is making a name for himself at underground stages all around Amsterdam, both queer and general in nature.
