mrjs.ddk is a Malmö/ Berlin-based newcomer, strongly influenced by the Swedish underground scene and Copenhagen’s dance fanatics. Playing percussive, tension-driven, and groovy techno, mrjs.ddk crafts moods and emotions that pull the floor into a constant ebb and flow of pressure and release. Little twists and turns, a rolling bass and sexy beats create energetic atmosphere: an invitation to lock in and get moving. So far, mrjs.ddk has brought her groove to clubs and dance bars such as Den Anden Side in Copenhagen and Elipamanoke in Leipzig. Having experienced the comfort and acceptance a dance floor can have for marginalized groups, contributing to this space is an integral part of her DJing.
