Growing up in long car rides from Philly to the Jersey Shore Mr. Murray spent countless hours listening to music with her father. She knew she had a knack for music. After attending DubSpot in 2011 she made the decision to never stop perusing what she loved. Naturally, she started collecting records and then launched a series of events called Outwatch in which she invited international likeminded artists to play in Brooklyn. In 2017 the music called her to Berlin where she spent 5 years of discovering, creating, digging, enjoying, and playing. There she collaborated with many artists and found herself playing venues such as Hoppetosse and ://About Blank. She then launched her label FTF Records (For The Friends) releasing music from artists that she is passionate about. Another jump across the Atlantic and Mr. Murray has found herself back in the city that she loves the most, playing vinyl only because to her there's no other way. Today you can find her playing somewhere in Brooklyn or at her recently launched collective, Ladies On Wax. Growing her collection from record shops across the world and through out her travels she finds comfort in blending many genres and styles depending on her mood.
