Born and raised in Kharkiv (Ukraine) Monotronique aka Roman Kurhan made his first steps into electronic production in 2013 and since has released on and contributed to labels such as Livity Sound, Opal Tapes, Banoffee Pies, Hyperboloid Records, Branch Points and Holding Hands. As a DJ he is well-known on the Kharkiv club scene making regular appearances at clubs such as Zhivot, where he is a resident, spinning his eclectic selections with a focus on underground house, techno and bass leaning dance music
