monotrom is a production and DJ project initially started to kill the the time and silence during the COVID-19 pandemic. Having always been into music - playing multiple instruments, writing songs, and going clubbing, building systems - the closure of clubs left a big gap in Livia's life. During this time, her writing shifted to darker, more introspective techno and she started DJing at home. What started as a personal project soon grew. Now, monotrom brings those driving sounds to dance floors, turning a solo lockdown project into a force that gets people moving.
