Monorail is based in Pancevo, Serbia. He is currently active on both the Pancevo and Belgrade scenes, but he is always looking to expand his musical reach. What he currently sees as his primary goal, is assisting the growth of his local scene. There are no genre limitations when it comes to his digs; he spends most of his free time digging for gems everywhere he can. He enjoys playing techno the most, layering tracks together, using 3 or 4 decks to create something new each time. He has also enjoyed playing progressive house and trance as of late, a mix for Liquid State Belgrade on komrad, and another mix for Club Kult, which secured him a spot in their Kult Talents program. He is most often found behind the decks in Pancevo's Stab Pogon, and a few other places in his hometown such as Apolo Dvorana and Treci Prostor. He has also performed at a bunch of other spots in Belgrade: Para Klub, Ljubimac, Baza Kulturnih Zbivanja, Bife Bar, Svastara Concept Bar, Dali Bar, etc. Monorail used to go by Groove Ya initially, but he decided to rebrand himself, as he felt that his musical evolution required him to do so. Fun fact: Monorail is 210cm tall.
