Since the inception of her musical journey, Monfreaq has remained unbound to a particular genre, definitively setting about exploring every facet of music available to her. Her appetite for DJing started whilst living in the Netherlands, at the time being a necessary tool for escape from the mundane. Now, this has since grown into a deep passion for being behind the decks and immersing herself in the cathartic and at times fantasy-like nature of club culture. Away from the club, Monfreaq heads up FURIOSITY: an event series and monthly show on Skylab Radio that aims to showcase the fiercely talented emerging DJs in the local scene, as well as some international guests with a focus on deep, high-energy dance music. In representation of FURIOSITY, Monfreaq has additionally been a guest on both Noods Radio in Bristol and THF Radio in Berlin. She is also a co-founder of Folly Hifi; a boutique handmade sound system and event series running parties in open air locations across Naarm (Melbourne).
