Born and raised in the Italian coast of Rimini, Mondo Nudo’s musical foundations were laid in the Riviera club scene during the golden era of Cocoricò, Altromondo and Melodj Mecca. Throughout these formative years, he absorbed influences from both the vibrant native scene and international influences from the US, UK and beyond, all the while nurturing his musical talent as a self-taught pianist and crafting his initial compositions. During his 10+ years in London, he embarked on a strong collaboration with Giles Smith and James Priestley from Secretsundaze. Here he co-ran the renowned London party and record label, releasing music from artists such as Joe Claussell, Palms Trax, Carista, Fred P and Shanti Celeste as well as putting on parties in collaboration with international brands such as as Southbank Centre, Sónar, Berghain, NTS Radio, Saatchi Gallery. In the meantime, between 2014 and 2016, he launched Music Market Festival in Rimini and Bologna, a non-profit event that combined independent label meetings, a record fair, workshops and live music, with guests from all over Europe. After moving back to Italy, in May 2024 he co-founded EASY, a music community bar in the centre of Rimini aiming to connect and empower local creatives. Tapping into his diverse background and sensibility, Mondo Nudo’s dynamic DJ sets take in everything from electronic and world music to house and techno, drawing from all eras of dance music’s rich history.
