Musician, composer and producer, Mikaël Charry aka MODGEIST has started electronic music in 2001 and has performed his first live acts as a member of Knobz. He is also the creator, composer and keyboard player of Anakronic, a flagship group of the electro-klezmer scene (4 LPs, more than 500 shows and a lot of features : David Krakauer, Marc Ribot, Bill Laswell, Pigeon John, Vincent Peirani...). Caught up in the addictive universe of modular synths, he decided to build his own solo project MODGEIST, playing live performances on an Eurorack tailored modular system. He goes back to his roots, the electronic music, mixing cryptograms and mysticism to create techno, progressive techno and acid tracks that he performs with high energy and perfectionism. Since its creation in early 2016, MODGEIST's reputation has been on the rise : he has already played more than 100 times, in a lot of parisian and french clubs and a lot of festivals (with Jeff Mills at the Electro Alternativ Festival, for Nowhere in Spain, at the Fenomens Festival in Barcelona, Superbooth 2018 and 2019 in Berlin, for CV Freqs in London, etc...).
