MMELL è una DJ e produttrice siciliana attiva nella scena underground di Catania, riconosciuta per il suo approccio personale e deciso alla hard techno e per la sua costante ricerca nel mondo dell’acid, divenuto oggi tratto distintivo delle sue selezioni. Fa parte del collettivo Purgatory, realtà nata a Catania con l’obiettivo di valorizzare e sostenere la scena underground locale attraverso eventi, collaborazioni e produzioni originali. All’interno di questo contesto, MMELL ha sviluppato la propria identità artistica, condividendo la consolle con numerosi artisti e contribuendo a costruire una rete solida, alternativa e coerente nel panorama siciliano. Il suo percorso si è esteso anche fuori dall’isola, portandola a suonare in diverse realtà underground italiane, in particolare a Bologna, dove il confronto con scene e pubblici differenti ha ulteriormente influenzato e consolidato il suo sound.
