Mixed Methods is a Sydney based DJ/Producer and founder of ‘Method Project’ – events designed to showcase house music in Sydney. Method Project has worked alongside One Hit Agency for the Defected Records 2022 Sydney afterparty and events series PLAT4ORM featuring international artists such as Sasha, Pig & Dan, Jamie Jones, M.A.N.D.Y, John 00 Fleming & Space 92. Mixed Methods transitions between genres of house and tech house.Influenced by Derrick Carter, Harry Romero, Floorplan and Honey Dijon, weaving gospel undertones with classic and modern’ tracks. Mixed Methods hold residencies with premium Australian promoters at One Hit Agency & Rodd Richards Presents. Additionally, residencies at Sydney venues ARQ, LABEL and The Ivy Pool Club (Boogie). Mixed Methods has recently appeared at Festival X (Rising Stage), Defected Sydney afterparty, Imprint - supporting Josh Butler (UK), Low Steppa (UK) and Matonii (AU) (One Hit Agency), Poof Doof Ivy Courtyard and Mobile Disco Hot Sauce - supporting Eric Powell and Dave Lee (IRock Entertainment). In 2021-22, Mixed Methods debuted her first release ‘Beat’ in March 2022 on Motive Records. Mixed Methods has just completed her second record, ‘It Started In Chicago’ featuring original vocals from Roland Clark. Mixed Methods works as the Promotions Manager and A&R assistant for Australian record label Motive Records. The role focused on supporting the labels music distribution, promotion and assisting with A&R.
