Mithra was born in Tehran. In 1998, she started learning and playing the Tar (a traditional Iranian instrument) and electronic guitar. Her initial music performances in the underground music and party scenes of Tehran occurred in 2004. As the lead electronic guitar player, Mithra performed with the UP Band (Underground Prophets) from 2002 to 2010, showcasing her skills in Rock&Blues lead guitar. Upon relocating to Germany, she continued her musical journey by improvising solo with the Tar. Her experimental music production style incorporates industrial, instrumental, vocal, and electronic elements.
