Miss Elaine Eos
Biografía
DJ Miss Elaine Eos stumbled on LPFM in Milwaukee, WI 1993 & tasted mixing live- even if it was using cassettes & an all-in-one stereo. Attending electronic dance music parties with vinyl as the media of choice she loved watching djs mix. Working in Fort Lauderdale, FL, '95-'96 winter, Elaine got her first chance to mix on Technics 1200 turntables at a small art gallery/record store, Collective Souls.
She began with drum & bass: T Power, Roni Size, Soulslinger and simultaneously learned to play African hand drums.
Eventually saved for her own Tech 1200s and dove into djing at cafe/art shows/house parties in Milwaukee. Her turntables were part of Free Radio BOB which mutated into the Wireless Virus Free Radio Collective.
FFW to 2006, three years after becoming a mom, now living in Minneapolis, Elaine found her way again to the dance floor. A passion for house music & the desire for self-expression led Elaine back to djing. Now she's chasing her dreams, using these skills as a founding member of The Headspace Collective production crew with whom she ran the Even Furthur Domeland DIY stage and Free Radio Furthur 2016-2019 and chill stage for The Great Beyond 2021 and 2022. “I firmly believe in the power of people dancing together in groups to promote peace, compassion and empathy."
