Mirmur
Biografía
Growing up in the '90ies her dream was to be a radio host, selecting all the cool pop, rock and electronic music for the listeners. Her very first selections were cassette tapes strictly borrowed from her father, recorded from the radio, and also doing the hosting-chatting parts with the imaginary interviewees.
This aspiration never really disappeared, later on - in her teenage years - she enjoyed discovering every aspect of music, also learning classical piano. Experiencing her first dance music events really changed her mindset towards becoming a dj in the club scene rather than becoming a radio host.
After the painful but useful lessons of being in her twenties, she made her way into the scene, now working as a full-time dj in Hungary.
Being the wild cat of the Hungarian Pure Lust team since 2017, she mainly plays behind the decks of A38, Toldi, PONTOON and Easy Art Space in her hometown Budapest, but she can be found on every major stage in the Hungary whether its an underground festival or a major club-night, and from time to time she delivers her magic onto the dancefloors of Vienna and Berlin.
With a genre-defying attitude, being playful and surprising are her main characteristics.
From downtempo to dark disco, synthwave to indie electronica, minimal to breakbeat, she loves to make a mess and spice up the beats so to say.
Her new side project is digging and mixing in trance, as she finds it very exciting with all that's happening in the global scene right now.
