Minako started off as a full time raver in the year 2012. With the growing dream to be a part of the Drum & Bass scene she used her communication & design skills for her own label Banana Bass Music which took off in 2016 as a student project with two of her closest friends Max and Maximilian (aka Dylectric). What started 2018 as a hobby during a personal crisis soon became a new talent. During the lockdowns, a little help from her fellow producer & DJ friends such as Dylectric, HighThere, Krambledore, Bass Letics, Cramz, NoMercy she could finally begin to take her passion to the next level. »I’m feeling overwhelmed most of the time. This isn’t a bad nor a good thing. It’s just something I’m naturally drawn to. Music helps me to channel my feelings, which makes it so much easier for me to deal with them. It’s definitely nothing I’ve invented, I’m just happy I found that kind of valve for myself. But also for the pure joy of celebrating my most beloved tunes and music genre of all time. I’m a Drum & Bass nerd and this rhythm just tunes in with my heartbeat.«
