Mike Parallax

Parallax has built a reputation as a DJ who can adapt to virtually any crowd while still maintaining a distinct identity rooted in underground electronic music culture. What truly sets him apart is the sheer range and versatility of his selections. Effortlessly crossing genre boundaries, his sets move through EBM, industrial, darkwave, synthpunk, and goth club sounds before diving headfirst into jungle, drum & bass, footwork, breaks, electro, house, and techno. Rather than treating genres as limitations, he approaches DJing as an open-format exploration of rhythm, energy, and atmosphere—blending styles together with a natural flow that keeps audiences constantly engaged and unpredictable in the best possible way. A former three-year resident DJ at Detroit’s Leland City Club, Parallax developed the instincts and technical control of a seasoned veteran while helping soundtrack one of the city’s most iconic alternative dancefloors. Years of experience across wildly different environments and crowds have sharpened his ability to read a room, shift momentum, and build immersive sets that balance deep cuts, dancefloor classics, and unexpected left turns with precision and confidence. A few notable artists Parallax has shared the stage with are; NOISIA, Andy C, and Dieselboy, he also performed all 4 days of Electric Forest Festival 2026. Above all else, he is a DJ driven by movement, excitement, and connection. His sets are energetic, chaotic, fun, and deeply infectious—equally capable of igniting a packed industrial floor or pushing adventurous electronic music heads into unfamiliar territory. Whether delivering aggressive body beats, rapid-fire breakbeats, hypnotic techno grooves, or euphoric synth-driven anthems, he brings an unmistakable passion to every performance.
