Miguel Arcanjo is a Brazilian DJ based in Rio de Janeiro. He is Resident and Co-Founder of Escola de Mistérios, a DJ, Visual Arts and VJ collective. Since 2019 the collective has produced parties, mixing workshops, radio programs, hosted debates and other activities with the purpose of building a community for black artists immersed in the electronic music scene in Rio. As a DJ, since 2019 he's been playing at the main underground parties in Brazil, such as Mamba Negra, Gop Tun, Kode, Domply and has shared line ups with established DJs such as Jane Fitz, Tayhana, Young Marco, Que Sakamoto, Valesuchi, RHR, Sol Ortega and others. With his DJ sets he aims to establish a connection between the various genres of electronic music, especially of the afrodiaspora world, and through that, expand the concept of what "Black Music" can be.
