Midland Street Echoes

My first introduction to dance music came via friends and listening to the radio growing up in the West of Scotland during the 90s. I would share tracks and live mixes with my friends recorded from the radio. I loved Beat 106 and Radio 1 essential mixes where you could hear the crowd noise throughout. We would make special trips into town with our pocket money to buy mix CDs like Bonkers on their release dates. By my late teens music, clubbing and festivals had become my passion. I would travel the length and breath of the country. I have many great memories of these times. The little flashbacks and memories of moments on the dancefloor really inspire me. In 2020 I started to learn music production at subSine | academy in Glasgow where I was finally enabled to put my passion and memories into making my own music. My first release was Waves | Stars EP with fellow Glasgow artist Kit Lawson in May 2023. In 2024 I then released my first solo EP, Saltcoats Air. Both on Alumni Records. My tracks received wide support and plays from established artists especially at the legendary Subculture night at Glasgow’s Sub Club. I’m excited to share with the world my New EP, Midnight in Torino, as well as DJ sets and a live show lined up for 2026. I can't wait to continue my story.
