After Michal first visited the Iconic Rotterdam techno club Perron in 2014, he decided to move to the Netherlands. In the same year he set up an organization: Creative Urban Event - a platform for musicians to support their activities. CUE is steadily growing. Between 2014 and 2016 he studied audio engineering at SAE Institute in Rotterdam, collaborated with some bands and gained experience working with professional audio gear. He worked on organizing techno nights called Proces in Bratislava and Kosice in Slovakia with his friend, music and business partner Rob Webber (WBR). Although their common project Preset & Webber achieved recognition in Slovakia, they eventually decided to close that chapter and work on a new project. Around the same time, he fell in love with the tactile feeling of modular synthesizers and stand alone hardware. Michal is also an ableton teacher and because of his skills with the program, he has decided to equip his hardware gear with sophisticated routings through ableton effect chains. Analog or Digital - he no longer has a preference. After finishing his studies in Rotterdam, Michal and his friends organized a techno night in Rotterdam called Foldback in both 2016 and 2017. Michal Basar lives in Rotterdam, but travels as much as he can to Bratislava to stay active with his crew from Central Europe. The crew is composed of international djs from Slovakia and Austria. Collective ANACLE will soon become known on the European scene thanks to the massive impact this crew creates on stage. Hypnotic repetitions are essential substances for Michal's production as well as performance. His inspiration comes from different kinds of music therapy techniques and dark therapy. However, always within the framework of a techno subgenre.
