The influence of her background as a hip hop dancer comes out through her incredibly infectious rhythmic selections. She is known for seamlessly weaving through different genres while keeping the energy high and the crowd completely locked in. Committed to keeping the underground electronic dance scene in Toronto thriving, MIASALAV is a co-founder of underground dance event collective Reconstructed Club and is a resident with techno-leaning event collectives Combo Breaker and SOAK. She also hosts Salavate radio, a radio show highlighting femme, queer, and POC djs that specialize in underground dance music on Toronto’s community online radio - ISO radio. She has been the support for many celebrated names in the underground scene such as Miley Serious, Madam X, TSVI, Mama Snake, Mike Servito, Kim Ann Foxman, and much more.
