Miah grew up in small-town Colorado stagnating-musically-with no idea that dance music even existed. As "electronica" gained popularity in the mid-90's he was turned on to artists like the Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk and Underworld. Attending a warehouse rave in Denver in 1997 solidified Miah's enthusiasm for dance music and shortly thereafter, he purchased the requisite 2 turntables and a mixer and alongside his brother, Hadrien, the two began teaching themselves the art of mixing. For the next few years as Miah learned the technical side of mixing, he also began to pick up on the psychological and emotional effect the music could have on a crowd by witnessing marathon sets by artists such as Sasha and Digweed, Deep Dish and Danny Howells. Miah used these newly gained super powers to his advantage at gigs around Colorado including his monumental first appearance at the 1000-capacity Matrixx night club in Fort Collins. Alongside friend and roomate Lars Santana, Miah held a weekly residency at Club Static in 2001 and his reputation for working the crowd spread throughout Colorado. While in college, Miah and roomates, Lars Santana, Hadrien, Scott Smith and Justin Ragan formed the world-famous Clearview Crew and began promotiing monthly parties around town. The basement of the Clearview House became a hedonistic pleasure den with sound and visuals that rivaled any club in town. After college, Miah moved to Miami for 2 years and returned to Colorado in 2007. He is currently a nightly resident dj in his apartment until something better comes along.
