Hailing from northern Portugal, Miguel - his birth name - is not a stranger to the Iberian sound which deeply influenced him. The discovery of techno in his teenage years left him no choice but to pursue his personal vision - menacing and finely tuned music that he has been playing in some of the most important clubs in Portugal since 2018 - open minded work that hardly leaves anyone indifferent. Not feeling complete without intensive studio sessions, he strives to develop his own contemporary approach, grinding out explosive tracks that for sure will make us shiver. Being a part of Analytical Convenience, a recent collective comprised of several promising young talents and Dark Sessions, a more established group in which he has an integral role, Mgr96 works to make sure his local scene's recent electronic music boom continues to expand into the future.
