Mentalcut

Mentalcut is a Polish DJ and producer, co-founder of the duo Lua Preta. His work blends contemporary electronic music with sounds from the global south — from kuduro and baile funk to gqom and dembow. With Lua Preta, he has performed across Europe and USA, playing both clubs and festivals. Their music has been released on labels such as Man Recordings, Good Enuff and Club Djembe, while Mentalcut’s tracks and remixes have been featured on BBC Radio 1, NTS, Keep Hush, Boiler Room and Rinse FM. His sets and productions balance raw club energy, fresh influences from Africa and South America, and a modern cross-cultural approach to sound.
