Menja Mist Swedish Dj, producer. Born in Sweden, based in Amsterdam. Already at an early age, she had a fascination and passion for music that has since grown, deepened and evolved from a life of many travels and influences from different cultures around the world.
 As a musician, and with a solid understanding of, rhythms and the unlimited possibilities that music has to transmit emotions, she took to Dj-ing some twelve years ago, with a preference for the pronounced rhythms and bass-lines, and the the vast scope of the Techno genres. Under the name Menja Mist, with techno being the solid foundation, she allows for all kinds of genres to be blended and experimented with, to create a contemporary musical platform that results in a heavy deep, yet dynamic sound. Through her music, she has been able to travel the world with multiple performances in countries like France, Italy, India and Brazil, sharing the stage with artists like DJ Hell, D-Unity, Levon Vincent, Benny Rodriguez, Apollonia and Mr C. Through the years, she has curated and hosted several radio shows, the current being her Techno show, Binary Fusion, on acclaimed radio station Di.Fm. https://www.di.fm/shows/binary-fusion She’s had the fortune to perform at some of the biggest festivals in Brazil, Universo Parallelo and prestigious Rock In Rio as well as multiple clubs in Sao Paulo. A fruitful collaboration with Brazilian Percussionist Marcelo Vig, resulted in the release of The Calling, on Brazilian label, Vig Sounds. After moving from France, making Amsterdam her base, she has kept several residencies and performed at numerous venues in Amsterdam and The Netherlands. The latest being Parels van de Stad Festival, where she performed with her new configuration, where she fuses her dj-set with live flute improvisation. In January of 2023, she is scheduled to once again tour Brazil, with multiple cities on the Agenda.
