Through his work as a promoter and resident DJ at OMOH Menishu has become a driving force of Budapest's underground scene and queer movement, and in rebuilding the seemingly lost bond between the two. OMOH has fought for the queer community's much deserved space in the underground: a safe haven for queerdos, weirdos and other misfits. The primary focus has always been the community and by extension the dancefloor, and this attitude shows in Menishu's DJ style as well: an all killer, no filler party-starter. As a resident DJ he has a regular opportunity to share his vision on floor-friendly dance music: a primal and sexually-charged mix of old and new carefully maneuvering between house and techno. Based in Berlin since 2018, he's also working on connecting Budapest to the wider international queer techno underground.
