With her academic background in music composition and sound arts, she has a unique and diverse perspective on music. Whether she’s creating experimental sound installations for art galleries, performing live electro-acoustic music, or energising dance floors in clubs, Meltem is like a chameleon, absorbing every sonic experience and transforming it into raw inspiration for her next project. As a skilled and inquisitive DJ, she knows how to work a room and keep the energy flowing. With a focus on electro, house, indie dance and techno, her diverse and intriguing music selection takes the audience on an unpredictable journey through various styles, moods, and rhythms while creating a strong connection with the dance floor. Since 2017, she has been gaining attention with her monthly radio show on Netil Radio and she has also appeared as a guest on several significant radio stations in the UK and abroad, including NTS, Rinse France, DubLab, Noods, and Noh Radio. She’s been a resident DJ at east London’s bar/club, Jaguar Shoes for the past five years and also performed at some other notable bars and clubs in London and Istanbul.
