From her early influences rooted in Motown, jazz, and funk, Megan cultivated a diverse appreciation for music thanks to her bass player father. Working at a local record shop while attending university in the '80s, she broadened her musical horizons. Throughout her studies, travels, and career as an educator, Megan has always pursued her first passion: music and dance. Megan meticulously crafts sets and playlists with a purist's attention to harmonies, genre transitions, and tempo builds. With a profound appreciation for the roots of African music (bolstered by a decade of dance in Egypt), jazz, funk, soul, and deep house, her sets will have you moving on the club or kitchen dance floor. Megan has played here and there around Sydney over the last few years with fellow Deep House enthusiasts, co-hosted a radio show through lockdown as D&M with @Darcy Doogan and is currently attempting to be brave enough to play more vinyl sets outside of the safety of the bedroom.
