Taking his name from the Zulu language, Daniel Schey, (known as Mculo) is at the forefront of the intertwining dance and electronic music scene. Raised in London and now residing in Berlin, he links continent with continent, creating distinctive rhythms and melodies which take elements from traditional African sounds and mould them with a forward-thinking techno sensibility. Alongside artist Alexander James, he runs and solely releases on 'Roots By The Oder', a label linking his musical productions with Alexanders artwork.
