Maxence Degrandsart (aka Max Degrand) was born in French Alps in 1999 and started his music journey at 7 y.o. with drumming in the music school. During this time, he discovered his passion for music, the beat and the plurality of styles. Being 16 y.o. Max revealed himself to the general public as a DJ and was one of the first artists that brought melodic house and techno to Lille (France) clubs which made him chase 320 bookings in just 2 years, increasing the schedule every day. During that time he played at the biggest nightclub & festival in France & mainly in Belgium. While he was still underage, he found himself sharing the turntables with Joris Delacroix, Solemn Eye, Nico Morano, Vison Machine, and Charlotte de Witte... After multiple DJ tours & residency through London and Ibiza, he set up his studio in Malta at the age of 20. These globetrotter experiences were lulled by organic music with Latin American shamanic inspirations. In order to develop a strong community he created his own brand "ALPHAWAVES" clothes, parties, activities, art gallery... His productions now translate a bridge between the organic pen and progressive house. Max studies the frequencies a lot and uses them as a base and line of conduct in his pieces which offers a deep and intense experience for the listener on all the levels of comprehension (mind, body, soul). His music & brand intends to let people connect with themselves and others on a deeper level, to let them activate their inner voice and all the chakras for the most balanced being while feeling unlimited love and joy, vibing on the dancefloor. This is where Max ́s focus is going to deepen in his music production while developing the project with each performance and tour around the world. This search for new music aroused the interest of several international artists with whom he shared his studio in Malta to collaborate. Among them are Albano Bastonero (Argentina), Pascale Voltaire (Germany) and Cattaree (UAE). Max has been sharing the decks with many international artists and touring Indonesia, Danemark, Ibiza, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Malta, & United Arabs Emirates.
