From a young age, Maurik immersed himself in music, developing a deep interest in genres from around the globe. This has enabled him to carefully curate and play his records, with expertise in genres such as (afro) disco, balearic/tropical house, and more rave-oriented sounds. He can smoothly transition from downtempo warmers to uptempo bangers, showcasing his skill in selecting the right tracks for any moment. Hailing from Rotterdam, he has built his experience at local popular venues like BIRD, Keilecafe, and many others. His musical journey has also taken him beyond his hometown, with gigs at exciting spots such as Multipla (Amsterdam) and Wibar (Leiden).
