In 1995 while Sven Vath consecrated his ascent and Loco Dice began to take its first steps, Mattias Butti, aka Mattias Clay, was born in Verona. His great passion for music began precisely thanks to the influences of the two great DJs: at first he became passionate about the world of percussion, then he devoted himself to the Techno music even though he never hid a love for Hip Hop. Growing up, he begins to be intrigued by the world of electronic music and he insatiably frequents the world of clubbing, that world that will lead him to his first performances in public where the boy, still very young, surprises for the strong musical style and the enthusiasm he manages to create around his performances. He then reached the first important milestone by becoming resident DJ of AlterEgo Club of Verona, an occasion that allows him to play alongside international DJs such as Len Faki, Ben Klock, Ilario Alicante, Ellen Allien, Matador, Gary Beck among others. A lover of vinyl and a melodic but aggressive groove, over the years his musical research and creativity have distinguished him making him one of the most promising DJs.
